Terms and Conditions

ABOUT US: Network Christians Ltd trading as Network Christians (NC) is a company registered in England 5382471. Its registered office is: 8 Sycamore Close, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 2PE.   Vat no. 851 6571 16. Data Protection Registration no. Z9094316. Trade marked no. 2519191.

MEMBERSHIP: Non-refundable. We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw a person’s membership if webelieve that they have or are likely to behave in a manner that will be to the detriment of our organisation or customers. 

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS: Those who renew their membership before the end of their current membership period will be able to do so at a discounted rate. Members are entitled to discounts on all events, breaks & holidays.

MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS: Each member is responsible for quoting their membership no. verbally or in writing to ensure they are quoted and offered relevant discounts. Failure to do this will result in the non-members premium being charged. Non-refund can be given in this instance.

EVENT DESCRIPTIONS - Half board includes evening meal, and bed & breakfast. No allowance can be made for meals not taken nor for activities built into the cost of the event that you choose not to participate in. Special diets or other requirements will, whenever possible, be catered for when informed at the point of booking. Our photographs are intended for general guidance only.

YOUR CONTRACT WITH US: When you book an event or holiday with Network Christians you are entering into a legally binding contract which comes into effect when we receive payment and accept your booking. It is therefore important that you familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions. When you book with us, it is on the understanding that you accept and will adhere to our terms & conditions. These are consistently applied to ensure fair treatment of all.

INSURANCE: We strongly recommend that all customers comprehensively insure any residential event booked. 

MAKING A BOOKING: 

 Provisionally via our website, by phone, e-mail, text or letter with payment following with in 3 working days. Your provisional place will be cancelled if payment is not received within the required time.

  Immediately by phone with payment made by debit or credit card. Your card information details will be entered during the duration of the call and will not be stored.  NC is charged extra by Paypal for being paid this way and the cost will be added to the payment due. 

PAYMENTS: A Day Event requires a full non-refundable nor transferable payment. You are not permitted to give or sell your place to another person. Neither are you permitted to transfer your payment to another event or holiday.   A Residential Event requires a non-refundable deposit or full payment when a booking is made less than 8 weeks prior to the event.   All payments are not transferable to another holiday or person. Your booking may be cancelled if you fail to pay the balance due on time. Where it is possible for us to re-instate your booking a £10 charge will be made.

In the event of NC receiving a payment which is subsequently returned unpaid by the relevant bank or card holder, a £25 administration fee will be charged to you.

CANCELLATION: For any reason should be notified to Network Christians at the earliest opportunity and confirmed in writing. Cancellation will take effect from the date written notice is received by our company.  

Written cancellations received for residential events will incur:

  Eight weeks or more before the start of your holiday will result in the loss of your deposit payment only.

  Between six and eight weeks before the start of your holiday will result in the loss of 50% of the total cost.

  Less than six weeks before the start of your holiday will result in the loss of the full cost of your holiday.

Please note: We cannot accept liability or pay compensation if we are forced to cancel or in any way change your holiday due to war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions or any other reason outside of our control amounting to a force majeure.

INVITATIONS & DIRECTIONS: Will be sent to you via e-mail or post at least a week prior to your event or holiday. Should you book an event or holiday within 7 days of it’s start we will send an invite to you immediately.

CHANGES BY US: The prices and descriptions that appear in this brochure are valid at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change prices and descriptions at any time after publication. We will, however, inform you of these changes before you book your place.   If in exceptional circumstances we find we are unable to offer the accommodation booked, a full refund will be given unless alternative accommodation is agreed. Also, If we do not receive a booking that enables us to arrange a requested room share for your event we reserve the right to charge you a single occupancy supplement.

CHANGES BY YOU: If you wish to change your booking in some way such as changing your desired room type an additional charge of £10 per change will be applied to cover our administrative costs. All changes that you wish to make must be confirmed in writing.

CUSTOMERS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS: It is your responsibility to tell us before you book whether you have any special needs or medical conditions, which might affect your ability to take part on our holiday.   A reasonable level of mobility is required on most events. If you are unsure whether an event or holiday is suitable please ask. Where we are unable to make a reasonable adjustment to cater for your particular needs we may have to refuse your booking.   We do reserve the right to take action in the interests of your health and safety and the health and safety of our staff and other customers should we need to. Please note that our venues and hosts are not equipped to provide specialised attention or medical assistance. 

UNREASONABLE BEHAVIOUR: We reserve the right to terminate an event or holiday without compensation, where we believe that the behaviour of any guests might impair the enjoyment, comfort or health and safety of other guests, staff or the public.   We reserve the right to recover from you the costs of any damage caused by you.
